Frequently Asked Questions

Please email us at StVincentdePaulOLC@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our Lady of Charity Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to helping those in need. Our primary ministries are food and clothing.

Our Lady of Charity Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, offers person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering, in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is composed of women and men who seek their personal holiness through works of charity. In this essential way, the Society differs from charitable associations or agencies whose principal objective is not the spiritual advancement of their members but the doing of good for someone else.

Our members are from every ethnic and cultural background, age group, and economic level. We are united and nourished by prayer and reflection, mutually supportive gatherings and adherence to a basic Rule, the Rule of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Vincentians witness God's love by embracing all works of Charity and Justice. The Conference collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need, making no distinction in those served because, in them, we Vincentians see the face of Christ.

Donations of cash, unexpired groceries and clean used clothing are used to provide food,  toiletries and clothing to homeless individuals and families in need.

To send a monetary gift in the mail, please send it to Our Lady of Charity of SVdP, P.O. Box 412, Lancaster, CA 93584-0412.  To donate unexpired food please bring them to our Site 1 address at 45058 Trevor St. during the hours we are open.  To donate clean used clothing, bring them to our Site 2 address at 44721 Trevor Ave. during the hours we are open.  See the "Contact Us" page for days and hours we are open.

You may also donate online, if you wish, by going to the DONATE page.
